This hotel is on the main Lymington road so the traffic passes non stop. The bedrooms have no windows except roof windows with electric blinds and as the rooms appear to be in roof space they have very thick and efficient fire doors but these are very noisy and shake the building.
The rooms are well appointed, freshly made biscuits and a fridge with water and milk, the bathroom was clean.
It was beautiful weather and the garden, which was lovely, was very busy but the staff were pleasant and coped well.
The food was frozen pub grub, well presented and okay, I could see into the open modern kitchen and it was very clean.
Dogs are welcome and almost all did, which can be overwhelming.
My impression was that a decent hands on manager was required.
