The gentleman at check-in couldn’t have been more helpful and is deservedly delighted to welcome guests back to the recently renovated establishment. Having great staff goes a long way in hospitality and they have definitely started off on the right footing.

Ample parking and quiet area. Comfortable bed and good shower meant it ticked all the boxes for an overnight stay. Welcoming staff on arrival and bar & restaurant if needed. Good value and would stay again.

Overnight stop on way to Scotland. Hotel recently been taken over and refurbished. Limited meal menu, restaurant bar open 3 to 11 pm so no breakfast currently available. Good value for money for accommodation.

Hotel is well placed in Gretna and accessible from M74. The room I was in was really clean and comfortable. Only concern was being next to a room where there was a dog and it barked in the night, breaking my sleep.

No breakfast available,this is a must for hotels these days but strangely bar meals were available in the evening. Also USB charging points in bedrooms are a must in the modern digital world . comfortable beds and a good shower.

For us it was very much a functional pit-stop that was good value for money compared to the increasingly expensive competition. The hotel and room is fairly tired & basic but was quiet and what we needed.

Lovely hotel in nice grounds, recently renovated. Nice room and staff very friendly and attentive. Only thing missing is a good menu in restaurant. No choice of starters , main meal burgers, fish and chips, steak pie etc . Great if that’s what you’re looking for. Would have been nice to see something with potatoes veg salad etc . Still a lovely stay

Receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Room needed hoovering,two small tea cups,no spoons.No glasses in the bathroom. Bed was clean. Breakfast was not available but I did visit out of season

Considering that this hotel has only been open 3 weeks the staff have done an excellent job. A few shortcomings that we were told would be corrected within the next 7-10 days (Limited draught beer and no breakfast option to name but 2) did not distract from service provided. Large room with a jacuzzi bath and awesome view of the grounds. Exceptional staff, nice bar and restaurant area (the steak pie is a must try), lovely gardens and close to the motorway for your overnight stop. Will we stop here again...... in a heartbeat

The staff gave us a very warm welcome and could not have been more helpful. The room and the whole premises were spotlessly clean. We had a great breakfast and would definitely stay again if needing accommodation inthis area. Highly recommended.

Was really impressed with this very newly opened hotel. Location was perfect for us. Room was very comfortable with everything we could ask for. Dinner was lovely and good value, only thing I could suggest would be adding a veggie option. I cannot compliment the staff enough, they were amazing, very friendly and could not do enough for you. Would not hesitate to recommend and look forward to staying again.
