We are not very picky individuals, when it comes to hotels, and knew we were picking a budget hotel however, the dirtiness of the room was next level for us. Our room smelled so bad that even my husband (who is very easy going) said we have to get out of there. Stains on the walls that looked like drips of who knows what… very muggy and dirty room. To top it off, Ibis refuses a refund and this is very frustrating as we are losing $407.00 CAD and this was an upsetting thing to find out, considering the dirtiness.
We are still hopeful that they will understand what a bad experience, and work with us on refund, but they refuse to respond at all.
Sad and disappointed to say the least.
