I secured a room with a kitchen. Never have I stayed in a hotel or Airbnb with the kitchen, with not a fork or spoon or knife or plate or bowl or cup or cooking utensil. Turns out they will up charge you for those things. The bed has a huge divot in it. And again, never have I stayed in a hotel with such a big dip where your hips would be in the one bed in the room. The bathtub floor is severely lumpy. Glad I did not fall. I don't know what they did that it is not level, but it's going to be a serious problem for them eventually. Fortunately, the heat did work well, and the AC also worked well. People seem to like to hang out in the parking lot at this hotel, even though the neighborhood feels safe, almost right across the street from Sam's Club. They informed me that some rooms have the utensils for the kitchen and some do not. But they need to be explicit about that in the listing. I went to Amvets and picked up a pan and plate and silverware. But then I couldn't figure out how to work the stove top, so the front desk guy had to come up and give me a lesson. I would guess he has to do this all the time because it's very, very odd. Cleanliness was good though, and for that I'm grateful.
No hand towels for the bathroom, no washcloth for the kitchen area, no Kleenex, no paper towels, no dish soap, no bath bar soap. Chintzy.
