Prior to arrival, I reviewed the expectations of the property to discern if there were any tasks to be completed prior to my arrival. Strangely, I discovered that - despite a booking - the property still expected a 24-notice of your arrival. Per this request, I attempted to contact the property twice prior to arriving. It was clear that the language barrier (English/Italian) was not well-received, as whomever answered the phone the first time hung up on me. The second time I attempted to call, I was sent straight to voicemail - I presume my number was blocked.
The website and host do not make it clear where this hotel is actually located. While the address is provided on this website, it was hard to locate the hotel. It is stationed in an alley between a sweets shop and what appeared to be a garage.
Between construction that was taking place on property and the general surrounding area providing an unsafe atmosphere, I did not particularly enjoy the location. I feel somewhere more centrally located in another part of the city would have been preferable.
A redeeming quality I found for the area was that the place had key codes to get into both the building and into the rooms themselves. The room was cozy and inviting with soft, comfy bed and pillow. There were not enough sheets provided, however. I received a single sheet with no other bedding. I felt the cleaning crew did a great job of maintaining the environment of the hotel.
