Wonderful hospitality and a fantastic room A thoroughly enjoyable stay at Somerville House. I stayed in room 9 on the top floor, which was fantastic, and the home-cooked breakfast each morning was a real highlight. The owners were exceptionally polite and welcoming, with a lovely personal approach that made the stay feel special. It reminded me of a particularly enjoyable stay in Windermere: great accommodation, a proper breakfast, and hosts who clearly care about their guests. A lovely place to stay in Hereford. I’d happily return and would thoroughly recommend it.

What a lovely place to stay, I was greeted by the owners, told of the honesty box should I fancy some refreshments and given my room key. Room was impeccably clean and had all the facilities you'd need. The breakfast was amazing, using top quality local produce. I stay in Hereford often and will definitely be using this wonderful hotel again.

Somerville Guest House is fabulous! Steve & Shelia were friendly, helpful and efficient. Our room was very comfortable, beautiful decor, overlooking the garden. We enjoyed a glass of wine is the garden. It was great to see they supported local Hereford produce! Fantastic breakfast, freshly cooked and great service. Onsite parking, 10-15min walk into the town. Would definitely stay again and thoroughly recommend:) Thank you Steve & Shelia for making our stay memorable! :)

We really enjoyed our night at Somerville House. We were welcomed by a lovely lady who gave us some fresh milk to take up to our room. The room was beautiful with a large bathroom with an amazing shower. Everything was imaculately clean, bed was comfortable even for me with a dodgy back. There was a fan provided which we needed in the night as it was warm. Only negative I could say was the bathroom got quite steamy. Only a short walk into the city centre.
