Disappointed
Staff was very friendly, but the room was not up to par. Floors were not very clean, lots of sand/grime got on my feet, even when we first walked in. I understand the hotel recommended slippers but this level of grime was not okay. Internet did not work on any of my devices for the first day, though that was very quickly remedied. What was particularly disappointing was getting back to our room late at night to find that we did not have hot water for our shower. We tried contacting the help desk and were met with voicemail twice. Given the fact my girlfriend and I were already cold, having an extra cold shower before going to sleep was unacceptable.
Small thing, but when I went to drop off my keys, the receptionist didn't even ask how my stay was. Very grateful for the location and atmosphere, but incredibly disappointed with the hotel quality and I do not recommend.
