Do not stay REPEAT DO NOT STAY at this hotel if you want to sleep!!! The noise from outside is unbearable, they even leave ear plugs next to the coffee pods. I had a balcony room on the 1st floor looking straight into a terrace bar. Paid an additional unbelieve €45/per night so extra €145 for 3 nights to have the same room on the 5th Floor so no one looking directly into the room and to try and reduce the noise issue, which did not work. I use Hotels.com on weekly basis for travelling with work and I can’t believe they list this hotel. I appreciate that being in the centre of a city can be noise which can be part of the experience, however, the noise from the bars surrounding the hotel are unbelievable!! This is my first negative review from at least 50 different stays and its pains me to leave it. But unless very loud noise does not affect you then DO NOT STAY at Gentle Tom. It will ruin your stay in Istanbul. @Gentle Tom pls feel free to contact me.

Being a small boutique hotel you feel the personalized service from the very friendly staff and especially the manager Mr Alp. The free breakfast they offer is adequate and very fresh and tasty.

Enjoyed Stay at GentleTom

GentleTom is very conveniently located and offers overall great amenities. The breakfast in the morning was great. It has great deco in the lobby and on the rooftop. We will definitly come back this lovevly hotel

Nice little hotel in good location. Very comfortable beds. The only downside is the nosie coming from the street - to some degree expected given the location but still. Breakfast could have been better.

Great hotel in the middle of the city! Only two small complains are that breakfast was very basic and nothing special and that the room even at the 5th floor had sounds from the clubs in the area around the hotel! Stuff really good

Functional, noisy at night.

Room was comfy, modern, clean. Staff friendly enough. Tip - book a room facing the city, not the back of the hotel. There are bars and a club making noise until 2am. Breakfast - very limited.
