Whilst room was very clean, it was quite basic, far from the 'luxury' that the listing would suggest. It was a standard room but I would have at least expected a modern bathroom.
Spa facilities were very poor, the general concept of the layout was ok and it was in an average state of repair, but considering we were charged a fairly hefty £20 surcharge per person, to then find it absolutely packed with people (we counted 23 in total) was really unpleasant. We ended up just leaving after a few minutes. Reception were kind enough to refund our surcharge without any hassle.
The value for money is reasonable but considering that the place we have decided to stay for the next couple of nights is broadly the same price with the surcharge, and has beautiful facilities all included, it wasn't great. I came away not necessarily feeling misled, but certainly oversold.
