This was my second time staying here. Just a satisfied a the first stay. Check in was easy and the desk clerk was very nice. The room was very clean. I like that it is a very small property. Dinner was good. The breakfast was fresh and light. Will be making another trip to San Diego in a few months and will be staying here again.

Very clean!

Small room but it had everything the two of us needed! Food within a short walk too!
Lanelle, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

I found the hotel very comfortable however, the noise from both the poolside bar crowd and the street was disturbing. I had to wear earplugs to sleep.

The Pearl Hotel in San Diego is a charming and stylish boutique hotel that offers a unique and memorable stay. Our room was thoughtfully designed and well-appointed, featuring a comfortable bed that made for a great night’s sleep. The staff were well-trained, professional, and genuinely attentive, making us feel welcomed throughout our stay. One of the standout features is the popular happy hour, which attracts both guests and locals with great drinks and a lively, relaxed atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would definitely visit again.

Great place over all. Clean room and great amenities. Walking distance to lots of restaurants and bars.

10/10 Exceptional

Super cute boutique hotel. A block away from the harbor which was nice. The harbor had multiple dining options that we were able to walk to. Staff was nice and attentive. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice boutique hotel

Clean, good location, comfortable bed. Clean small pool. 23 rooms, only 10 reserved parking spaces, first come. No fridge in room. On very busy street, noisy. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

Home away from home

Great place to stay. Cute and small. Quiet and cozy and feels like home. I'm for sure coming back if I visit SD again.

We loved our room and the restaurant. The weather was touchy so it was really nice to enjoy where we were staying. Will return.
colleen, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

It’s like a residential area without much to do although there good restaurants as well as a marina.
Maria, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

The main attraction here is the restaurant. The hotel just exists around it. The restaurant plays music on a big screen and seats people around the pool. This means noise from people, music , movies gies on late into the night. Major drawback to staying here. Frint desk personnel not particularly friendly or helpful
Ronald, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Came with my gf and it was a nice and intimate place to stay. Staff was friendly. Aesthetically pleasing, but not as nice as the pictures in my opinion. Overall great experience.
Joshua, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Such a sweet and simple yet thoughtful little hotel! Seems to be one of the only ‘newer’ hotels in the area that appreciate design and ambiance. The chain hotels nearby could never compare. Loved the mid century vibe and how clean the design is. Makes it so peaceful and relaxing.
Matthew, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Staff was great. They were able to get us into another room because of an issue with the air conditioner ( noisy). Beds are comfortable & vibe of hotel is amazing.
Joe, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

Our room was damp. There was no extra lock on the siding glass door and we were on the street level. Blood on the pillowcase. No extra washcloths. Few hangers and no drawers. No refrigerator or in room coffee. Not enough space around the bathroom sink to unpack a travel kit. It was really uncomfortable for an 8 day stay.
Deborah, 6-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Great stay!

This place was so cute! It was also clean and the staff was super nice. I loved the hardwood floors and also the bed was comfortable. I do have to say that if you’re staying here, bring earplugs because it’s on a loud street. I don’t mind it but it’s something to consider if you’re a light sleeper.
Maria, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Stay was ok overall but the bedding was stained and the internet connection was horrible, which made watching the smart tv difficult. Response from staff was good and they were very accommodating.
sheena, 3-night trip

6/10 Good

An all round ok stay.

Pro’s - fun decor and good vibes in the bar. Smart room design. Comfortable bed. Restaurants within walking distance and good base to explore San Diego downtown, little Italy and la jolla. Negatives - the sheets were threadbare, and had a blood stain. The extra charges (whilst not a surprise) are a lot for a 3 star motel. My bill was $80 extra after 2 nights (only 1 night parking). Thin walls.
