8/10 Very good

No kettle or tea/coffee in room. 1st floor is very noisy being so close to the street, have to keep curtains closed as double decker buses can see through! Walls are a little thin and could hear the neighbours next door during the night. Everything else was comfy and cozy, perfect for the 2 night stay I had and super close to Tottenham court road and other shopping areas. Would recommend if you need something basic and comfortable but don't expect the ritz!

It’s a cheap room in central London within walking distance to all the landmarks. You pay 4 times the price everywhere else. If it’s somewhere to just sleep you’ve chose the right place x

Very budget hotel but excellent location and good value for money. Yes hotel is dated and very minimal but it felt pretty clean, friendly staff and had everything we needed. For the price this was very good value. Showers were super basic, mattress very old and dated but overall we had an okay stay.

Staff was very friendly and helpful but hotel is dirty , toilets were not flushing, light switch was missing....I know its a cheap hotel and I didn't expect any miracles but I expected atleast a clean room.

2/10 Poor

Location and price are excellent. Staircase is dirty. Building is old. Cracks on the walls everywhere. Needs proper refurbishment. They don't even bother to clean the window. Bed quality is poor. A bit of oil on door hinges is not costly but helps you not to wake up the whole neighborhood by opening the bathroom door. Luckily we arrived late for sleeping only and I couldn't wait to get out earliest in the morning

6/10 Good

Booked this hotel purely for its central location and for the price I paid I cannot complain. Yes, it's shabby, the decor is dated and the less said about the shared facilities the better. However, staff at reception were friendly, sink in the room and bedlinen was clean. Bring earplugs, there's a generator at the back of the property that runs all night.

Amazing location and the cheapest prices I could find by a large margin. The receptionist, Abhay gave an exceptional service and made some good reccomndations for things to do nearby

Room was neglected. Very basic. Sheets were clean and staff on reception pleasant enough but not a good experience.

Probably one of the worst place I have stayed in UK. Got at least 5 BIG bug bite on my back after one night staying! The only plus side was the hotel location : behind British Museum and within 15 mins walking distance to China Town and west end. Although the staff I have encountered (afternoon shift) was friendly and helpful, it did not steer away from the fact that the room was tiny and less than basic, TV not working, mattress was saggy due to overused , shower room basin tap was broken, shower head was dirty and not working properly, toilet seat was loosen, one of the plug (only two in total) wasn’t working , very noisy from outside as no sound proof window , curtain was half hanging, desk and chair look like those you can find from the recycle skipp in your neighbourhood , not to mention the really dirty carpet and outdated decor in general..…….. I am usually not picky and fuss but with a £70 price tag for a single room during off season , I think it is not worthy and definitely over priced ! Majority of their problems were a result of long term neglecting from the management and possible no maintenance at all in the property. So I won’t be returning nor will I recommend it to anyone else. If some TLC or updating is done , I will be happy to pay over a hundred for a single room there because of the location, but now NO again for definite!

To be honest, you get what you pay for. This is the cheapest hotel in this area, the are is incredible, so overall good value for money. You get a bed, a toilet, and a towel, do not expect more and you’ll be fine.

The location is great, but the carpet is very dirty and unappealing. Given the low price, I only expect a clean carpet and bedding—nothing more. Hopeful they would invest some money in carpet cleaning or in new carpet.

The only thing this hotel has going for it is location, in the middle of Bloomsbury. Inside it is very run down. The bed linen was clean thankfully, but the en-suite was grubby, hardly any water pressure from the taps. The single curtain at the window had a hook either end, and the ceiling and one of the walls had water stains, presumably from a leak above. Sorry Gresham, we won’t be back.

This hotel is within walking distance of King's Cross Station (although not perfect if you have a heavy suitcase). There are places nearby for food including a McDonalds. There was a wash basin in the room but there looked to be broken glass or something between the edge of the wash basin and the wall which had not been cleared away. The receptionist was friendly.

Great location

Great check in at a super location! Bed was clean and room spacious. The hotel has so much potential for an upgrade as is very dated and Un maintained in part.
