I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, the experience did not meet the standards I expected from a Taj Group property. The room was poorly maintained, with peeling wallpaper and dated décor. Cleanliness was also below expectations, with visible dust under the furniture and around the side tables.The bathroom had a glass door that did not seal completely, allowing unpleasant smells to escape. The AC ventilation outside the bathroom then seemed to circulate those odours throughout the room. The corridor carpet also smelled very badly, and I had to request an air freshener.A major concern was the top-floor window, which could be opened without an adequate child safety lock or restrictor. This is a serious safety issue that management should address immediately. The amenities could also be improved, and the bed was lower than expected. The location was not particularly convenient, with limited options nearby.On the positive side, the reception lobby and restaurant were clean, the sitting area was pleasant, and breakfast was enjoyable, although more variety would have been appreciated. The housekeeping, restaurant, and reception staff were friendly and helpful. I particularly appreciated a reception intern, whose name I believe was Sardaji.Having previously stayed at Ginger Mumbai Airport, another property from the same group, I was surprised by the significant difference in quality. That experience was on a completely different level

The staff was absolutely delightful and helpful. The bed and pillow were super comfy. Probably the comfiest bed on my trip. The food at the breakfast as well as the restaurant (which included a limited menu 24/7 for room service) was excellent. The airport shuttle/taxi was on time and a very kind, friendly gentleman was my driver. I didn’t understand the directions to meet with him at the airport but he and the hotel waited for me until I could figure it out. (My phone died and I was quite tired.) First time at Mumbai! The hotel was clean and secure.

The room was really really dusty. I walked bare foot from the bed to the bathroom and could feel dirt on the floor too. Opening the blinds also led to a lot of air borne dust.

My stay at ginger, goregaon was good overall. Staff was very helpful, good food and cleanliness well maintained. Ananya @ reception was very helpful and quick to respond. Would definitely look forward for my future stay.

I had a wonderful stay at Ginger Hotel, Goregaon, Mumbai. The highlight of my experience was the breakfast service — truly exceptional! The Indian buffet spread is excellent with a great variety of delicious dishes to choose from each morning. What made it even better was the outstanding service from the staff, especially Raman. He is incredibly professional, courteous, and attentive. Raman makes sure everything runs smoothly and guests are well taken care of — his hospitality really stands out and adds tremendous value to the experience. The rooms are basic but the staff do their best and make the stay comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel, and a special thanks to the breakfast team for making mornings so delightful!
