My husband & I had a wonderful time staying overnight at Six Acres. Charlie was a great host; he gave us detailed directions, recommended a fine dinner stop, & fed us a delicious & hearty breakfast. We also learned a lot about the history of the house & neighborhood. This is where I will stay when I visit Cincinnati again.

Beautiful home. Charles, the grounds keeper, was excellent. My only suggestion is to put some kind of handle bar on the wall in the shower, to hang onto when necessary. Other than that, I highly recommend this place

It is unfortunate to feel compelled to leave unfavorable comments. The photos re misleading. The facility has "seen better days." There NO restaurant on site. There are minimal window treatments, bedding, and decorative features..unlike the photos. There is a history connected to the building but no information about it except an article tacked on the wall in a side -dark-hallway. Many history books stacked everywhere...unneeded. Shared bath-shower curtain rod..hanging down loose from the wall. hair dyer base attached to the wall--no hair dryer. Weekend breakfast served at 9:30 AM--all gone before we arrived at 10:15! Found it necessary to make my own coffee the next morning..not out when promised. At best a "budget BNB" but not what the site depicts or promotes.

Charles is an incredible human being who treats guests like family! The hotel is clean, cozy, and breakfast is delicious! And the building is steeped in tremendous history. Highly recommended! You truly feel like you are family here.its like coming home!

I always stay at hotel when I come into Cincinnati I saw this place I never stay at a bed n breakfast so I gave it a shot, I am glad I did this place is like a home away from home with a lot of history Charles was friendly, told us a lot about this place Charles made us feel like we where home I consider Charles be part of my family and my ghost hunting family Charles made amazing breakfast will be back for sure

Wonderful property and wonderful staff who treat guests like family! This place needs to be on the National Historic Register due to its importance as part of the underground railroad. Hugely important in not just Cincinnati's history, but our shared human history. Love this place! Its an honor to get to stay here.

Great historic home with a good story to tell and history to preserve. Unfortunately we were disappointed in the small size of the bedroom and poor lighting for reading in bed; bathroom door would not close all the way. Breakfast not served until 9:30 so we did not wait around either day we were there.

An absolutely charming B&B! The bed was incredibly comfortable and we slept really soundly. Best part of the experience was Charles!! He is one of the nicest and most interesting people we've met in a long time!!: )
