Staff were wonderful, as are room and facilities. Beach and pool calm, plenty of loungers. Kosher food is good but variety could be improved. Strongly recommended

Nice Hotel, Disappointing Food Quality

Nice hotel, but with poor food quality. Terrible taste in a country where you can find quality and delicious meals anywhere.

In fact , the place is well located and well maintained. The thing is that is a kasher hotel and it’s not indicated in Hotel.com This brings me to the point that not every kind of food available. More than that, we were less than 15 clients in the hotel so no buffet dining at night available. No bar open in the lobby. We had to go to the pool at night if we want a drink. No activity at all . Deserted That not deserved the 500$ for a night So disappointed

Quiet gem

Went for a short weekend stay. Lovely property. The bungalow was great for the four adults sharing it. Breakfast buffet is delicious. Note that if you are there Friday/Saturday the property does observe Sabbat. It only has a minimal impact mostly on the food and drink options. But otherwise it was a lovely stay and the staff was excellent. Great location and very easy to get in Chalkis!

Loved this property so much! It’s the nicest we have been to in Greece. BUT it was so noisy - bottoms of chairs and tables need some foam pads, and doors slamming made it difficult to sleep. Would also like to have Greek music playing for a more authentic experience. Buffets were delicious and worth the up-charge.

Great hotel

Great hotel in a beautiful location. The beach is a mix of sand and small pebbles, is shallow and a great place to play with kids as is the inflatable water park. The swimming pool is very deep(3m at the deep end) with only a very small area that even adults can stand up. The was never a problem getting sunloungers and only a few had been reserved by the time the pool opened at 10am each day. Service around the pool is very good And the staff friendly. There is a gym that feature 2 treadmills, a rowing machine, an assault bike and ski erg along with a multi gym, cable machine, dumbbells, bench, box jump.

2/10 Mediocre

Brown beach canceled our stay within a few days of our trip citing a technical issue. This was very stressful for a family with 3 kids. We were relocated and the new hotel had no room service or spa. We also had received an email a month prior letting us know we could cancel because now they've gone *kosher*. They didn't want us there for whatever reason and I'm fighting with my credit card company for a refund.

It was exclusively kosher based and they even did not allow deliveries from outside shops for guests who do not follow the kosher way of eating.I was expecting more luxury in the room i.e. a coffee making machine.the location is amazing, the beach very beautiful and the personnel kind and helpful!
