Hotel was immaculate, as soon as we walked in staff and manager George was there to greet us, so friendly and helpful, rooms were fantastic, parking was great outside of hotel and free if staying there, nothing was a problem, meals were outstanding, and reasonably priced, breakfast wow the yogurt is a must, the full English breakfast not a drop of grease any where also very tasty. A huge thank you to George and his staff.

Great hotel. The location is fantastic, the staff go above and beyond. A favourite spot for a getaway with opportunity to walk, visit High Force waterfall, have a drink in the cosy bar and dine in the elegant dining room. Breakfast was great - the food is obviously local and fresh.

comfortable & attractive room & very friendly, helpful staff. We ate in restaurant & food was excellent. Dog friendly in all areas with small extra charge. As a resident you can get access the water fall walk before general opening time and we had it to ourselves. You also get entry to Raby Castle but we didn’t have time this visit. Would definitely stay again.

Just back from a wonderful one night stay at the Raby High Force Hotel - I only wish we could have stayed longer and explored the many walks nearby and sampled more of the hotel food! The hotel has an elegant charm, has been beautifully maintained and the staff are just amazing, especially George who couldn’t have done enough for us. We had a beautiful afternoon tea, served on the big round table in a snug, making it really special. The breakfast (Full English and Poached Eggs & Avocado) was amazing! The room rate includes complimentary entry to the High Force Waterfall and its many walks, also Raby Castle - saving us over £60! Raby Castle is well worth a visit for its splendour and again, so very well restored and maintained. The staff and volunteers at Raby Castle are so knowledgable and clearly enjoy sharing what they know with the visitors. Both hotel and castle are set in stunning surroundings. You won’t be disappointed.
