A good budget option close to Darling Harbour, a long walk (or short ride) to Circular Quay area. Small room and shared bathrooms of high quality. Bar, and thereby reception, have limited opening hours and are closed on public holidays. Self check-in works fine. A bit noisy in late evenings due to the bar in the backyard, our window faced this side.

Heritage listed Hotel which has been nicely renovated. Friendly staff, great bar and tasty pub food with a discount on food and drink for guests. It's on a busy road so a little noisy but good value and located close to Darling Harbour precinct.

Had a great stay here on a Friday night recently. Check-in was easy and the staff were nice. The room was clean and comfortable. I booked a room with an ensuite (many rooms are shared bathroom) and it was on the ground floor. There was a window that was on street level but despite this I wasn’t disturbed with any noise throughout the night (and I’m a light sleeper). There’s a bus stop right out the front and it’s a 2 minute walk to the lightrail. Would definitely stay again when I need to be in Pyrmont.
