The hotel was clean and tidy. The reception left a lot to be desired, however. The front desk attendant was often not present and despite having selected this hotel for the included breakfast, we were turned away and told to contact hotels.com. After a long conversation with hotels.com (it took around a hour to reach someone), they confirmed we’d paid for breakfast. They offered a small credit and suggested we return for breakfast. None of us felt comfortable doing so after the chilly and unhelpful reception we’d received and it really dampened our stay since we had a large group of hungry and antsy children. Despite a nice enough property, we will not be back and I remain disappointed with hotels.com.
