The staff are very helpful, friendly, and attentive. Check in was fast and quick. For anyone visiting Bon echo or any surrounding places - this is the best place to stay. Food is amazing and there is full breakfast available at 7.00am for a very good price .

Beds were horribly uncomfortable, broken springs on edges. Under toilet was dusty as were baseboards. Staff in restaurant were very nice and helpful.

Wish the restaurant was open earlier. Need hand rail or something on the bottom of the tub to keep from slipping

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable we slept like a baby. The restaurant though opened late the following morning and was understaffed. But overall we had a great time and will be back again next time.

Perfect location for our needs. Loved that there was a fridge with a freezer and a microwave. Blackout drapes would help and the shower took a bit for hot water to kick in. but overall a great spot, quiet and safe. Would return easily.

We recently visited friends at Bon Echo and basically used the room as a place to sleep. It was great for this. Rooms were sufficient size for my wife and I and our two kids, beds were comfy and bathroom was clean. The office manager was very kind and eager to please and you can tell she is working hard to rebuild the reputation of the Inn from past owners. If you are looking for a good room with decent beds to sleep in while you visit the parks and lakes of the area than this is a good place.

We stayed at the Lakeside Hotel for a quick visit. The room was clean but was located a little underground. Overall, it was a good place and would stay there again. There is, however, no hair blower so come prepared.

The staff were very friendly and helpful but overworked as unfortunately they were understaffed and thus the restaurant and bar areas are closed Mondays and Tuesdays right now. This made finding nearby meals those days other than a food truck difficult. There is a Foodland in nearby Northbrook. The rooms were updated and clean with basic amenities and comfortable beds. Hopefully there are plans to updated the bar and restaurant too. Great location with Bon Echo only 8 minutes away and gas station across the street. Overall we were happy with our stay 😊
