First, I am not a hotel snob; I didn't plan on being there much so I thought, "how bad could it be?", but I should have listened to the reviews, I have never felt so disgusted by a hotel room and would have left if we'd had an option. While it is across from the lake, I did not feel safe or comfortable there at all. Sketchy people in and out of rooms all night, roaming the parking lot, smoking outside our door.. 3 people and their dog slipped in next door even though it is a no-pets hotel but fortunately he quit whining and barking before I called. The room was disgusting. I slept on top of the blankets, in full clothing. No electrical outlets at mirror or inside the bathroom. No hairdryer in room, though it said on the website, and we had to leave our drivers license at the desk to borrow it. Moldy, damp with paint bubbling and curling off the walls. I can deal with a pretty unpleasant looking room if it is clean, but everything was dirty, tops of headboards not even wiped down. red nail polish spilled on furniture pieces. The only thing going for it was a pleasant staff member at the front desk and plenty of parking. But don't do it.
