Considering all the good reviews for Blue Roatan, I was terribly disappointed in the customer service, and moved to a different hotel after 1 night. First, the forgot us at the airport for pickup. They had messaged on Whatsapp in the morning, WHILE we were on the plane, even though provided flight arrival info previously. 2 hr later, after calling, we are picked up, then just dropped at our room.....no information, no greeting, no checkin....and told the restaurant is not open tonight, and only thing around is Ibagari (expensive place) to eat. Room didnt look like what booked, although it was a very nice room. To go to dinner, had to walk down a steep incline on a road, with no lights. Then had to walk up it after dinner, again no lighting. There are supposed to be a tuk-tuk, but dont see anything around. And there was no info given, or if there was a reception...apparently it too was closed. TV did not work, didnt know if we could use the pool attached. They said they would see us in the morning. Then the shower had no hot water! We let them know we walked down again to the beach club, where we got breakfast....no contact. So then finally spoke to someone and all they would offer in another room. And didnt really want to keep our business or make us happy with our stay. Although the room was very nice, bed comfortable, we decided to book another place, closer to West Bay. Would not recommend this hotel.
