We stayed at the Sunset Vistas for a long weekend celebration. Pulling into the resort, the property is a little snug, but the building itself is nice and well kept. Our checkin went smoothly, the front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming, it felt like we were arriving home!
The majority of the parking is under cover with reserved parking for the units - one space for our unit, but there are some overflow spots of you need an extra space. The parking spaces were wide enough, but the aisles in between were tight, so I would avoid driving overly large SUVs or Pickup Trucks there, but this is not something I hold against them. Our room was well kept, with all the standard condo or timeshare style amenities. Though the property is older, they have done a great job keeping it up. The onsite bar and cafe were a nice touch. The beach was a short walk through the dune. The only reason I gave property condition 4 out of 5 stars - when we arrived, the living room TV was dead and had to be replaced (handled quickly once they knew, they were great!) and the house phones need to be replaced (they informed us and I have no doubt they will fix it). The maintenance team and guest services were top notch - as good as any top tier resorts.
We will return for stays in the future. The service alone is worth it.
