It was an okay stay, however on the first night we were frantically awakened by the fire alarm at 6:00am, then again at 10:00am. We were told that the facility is in the process of changing ownership and that several issues are being left unresolved as a result. We were unaware and surprised that the rooms do not have drawers for clothing, our toilet was unstable and needs to be secured to the floor, the bar was inadequately stocked, the bar tender was unskilled, but a nice young man, he tried. The head cook was very nice, helpful & inviting. Also I had to kill a rather large cockroach on the bathroom wall. Overall the staff was nice and helpful, no issue there, however the place needs a lot of attention, and that starts from the TOP! There are more things I can mention but I’m running out of character space. With all the issues I’m speaking of and also NOT mentioning in this review, there was no discussion of price adjustment, we still paid the asking rate, and we did not receive equal accommodations. One last thing, my wife wanted to use the exercise room, but it was being used as a storage space. Again, the staff tried, but they’re only working with what they have. Ownership/Management needs to do better and step up!! This was my 2nd stay at this location, Oct 2024 and this year. My wife, son and I were in town for our yearly family reunion, and we are considering staying elsewhere in 2026 if these conditions are not corrected.
