This was easily the loveliest place we have ever stayed. The staff are so kind and accommodating, the food is delicious, and the grounds are beautiful. Inness has so much to offer and so many areas to explore. We couldn’t have picked a better location for our engagement shoot.

The view and decorations were amazing. However, the water from there tasted extremely bad—not just the water from the restaurant but also the water from the tap in your room. The reception's service is okay.

Upstate Beauty
Beautiful property and the cabins were charming and well maintained. The food and drinks at the restaurant were great. Everyone working was very kind. But It being the days between Christmas and NYE, the staff was overwhelmed. This was reflected in the service level and crowding at the restaurant & spa and lack of parking.
I would stay here again because it is gorgeous. I would just pick a time that was less popular.

Stunning, perfectly designed, gives you a Tuscan vibe, relaxing resort with many activities nearby and onsite, I would suggest going spring/fall. They are currently building a spa - prices may jump after that and may be more crowded so would be nice to go before and after that opens. Hotel could use better signage when you first come in - when you arrive its a bit confusing where to go and check in etc. Staff upon arrival could be a little more helpful with explaining the property/activities available. Overall - beautiful, relaxing and enjoyable trip!

Everything was awesome!!! The grounds are incredible and so many places to walk around. Every single person of the staff was incredible. They were so nice, helpful, etc. and the restaurant on property is amazing. There wasn’t one item that wasn’t delicious. I would say the only issue is when it rains/snows. As it get muddy everyone. They have one road paved but would be cool if the other was paved and a paved walkway up to each cabin. But that’s such a minor thing compared to how awesome it is. Didn’t have time to check out their new spa but hoping to do that next time.

The property is very quiet. The grand king cabin is spacious. The cute guy who droves us around was very friendly and shared a lot of information about the property. The only thing we were not happy is about the hosts at the restaurant and reception. You can feel the microaggression from them as a non-white guest. We were informed that as a hotel guest, the reservation is not required. When we walking at 8 AM on Sunday, we were told the whole restaurant was fully booked and the only table available is a tiny table against the wall. actually, the whole dining area was pretty empty, even by the time we left around 9 AM. The host told us that is the only table we can use. We never experienced this level of discrimination in other luxury resorts. Think twice if you want to visit here but you are not white.

Excellent, but a bit less secluded than expected
Everything was excellent - service was helpful but non-invasive, property was beautiful, food at restaurant was extremely good by two picky NYers standards - my only issue was the cabins were not very well soundproofed. If you were traveling with friends or family, probably not an issue, but on a couples trip to be able to hear the entire couple next door’s conversation, TV viewing choices, etc etc felt a lil “not the point” of the rustic, isolated cabin. For the price point, they should have significantly better soundproofing - our couple next door woke us up both mornings of our stay. With that said, we’d still visit the property again, as it’s well-located to explore local towns and the amenities (restaurant, gym, overall aesthetic) were flawless.

Loved the landscape , decor, dinner, staff’s responsiveness, and ease of check-in and check-out. Would like to see a security slide lock from inside the room at the farmhouse and better breakfast selections at the restaurant.

Gorgeous relaxing property. Staff was friendly and attentive - like an adult summer camp with an adults only pool. Service in the restaurant could be improved.

Friendly staff- outstanding food !!
The grand king cottage was spacious and very comfortable.
The food was of exceptional quality - the service team was superb- one waitstaff member Christine was so lovely - and the food was amazing that we decided to cancel outside dinner reservations and had our dinner at Innes every night of our stay!
