Nous avons passé un agréable séjour à l’Arathena. Tout était parfait du début à la fin : notre chambre était bien équipée, spacieuse et confortable, le petit déjeuner varié et surtout une équipe disponible et serviable. Nous recommandons cet établissement à tout ceux qui souhaiterait venir dans le coin.

Great location a short walk from San Pantaleo, which is a really beautiful town with several great restaurants. Lots of steps in the hotel, so not for people with limited mobility.

Our stay at the hotel Arathena was wonderful! The staff were delightful and always very helpful, the lady at the front desk was very happy to give recommendations on restaurants and places to visit. There was a nice selection for breakfast and you can order drinks via WhatsApp to the pool which was so easy. The hotel itself is lovely, very picturesque and the rooms were clean and had all amenities we required. The pool was fab, there were a good number of loungers but can get busy. Great location, easy walking distance to the centre of the village and good parking at the hotel. The nearest beach was also 15 mins away and was gorgeous. We hired a car to get around and I’d highly recommend doing that as taxis were expensive. We can’t wait to come back again!

Perfect location. Close to everything and in a beautiful downtown . I stayed here for my last night after staying in 7pines resort and Su Golgone. I would say it is by far better use for your money than 7pines .

5 star rating for everything. This place is a real gem. As strange as it sounds, it reminds me of a few of our favorite places in Santa Fe, New Mexico, a totally unexpected find in Sardinia.

A lovely and unassuming hotel that does everything well and has a gracious and pleasant staff that makes you feel very much at home. Excellent and comprehensive breakfast. Be prepared to do a little hiking to get to your spacious room, but it's worth it when you get there. Wonderful people. Short walk to the town center, market, cafés...

Great hotel with very friendly and service minded staff. Great location for vacation in Costa Smeralda. 3 minute walk to the square in San Pantaleo with cafees and restaurants. Very nice pool area with super views. We rented high quality bikes from Manubrio Basso 2 minutes walk from hotel. We biked to the beach and in the country side.

Helt ok!

Hotel är helt ok, rent och vänlig personal. Hiss verkade saknas och det var trappor till pool, rum, frukost, restaurang mm. Sedan kan jag tycka att när man bokar via hotels.com och man är guldmedlem att uppgradering borde vara självklart. Speciellt när det är lågsäsong och få boenden.

quel paix même en plein Aout !!! superbe chambre et salle de bain , d'une propreté impeccable et un personnel surtout au petit déjeuner d'une gentillesse et serviabilité que beaucoup de 4* ou 5* devrait prendre en exemple . un séjour paisible , dans un petit village très animé le soir . les plages sont à 15/20 minutes de voiture maximum .

A mixed review

This hotel was a mix of great and not so great for me. The town of San Pantaleo was really cute and it grew on me more and more. I am happy we stayed there. The hotel I will outline in pros and cons. Pros * Incredible staff. Front desk staff always ready to help. Restaurant staff spectacular!!! I can’t say enough about them. * Restaurant was awesome. Food excellent overall. Dinners were great and breakfast was outstanding. Lots of choices and the coffee out of this world! * Lobby had a nice sitting area with a tv. Comfortable to hang out. *. Pool was really nice! Nice views over the mountains and valley from the pool. Great place to hang out. Cons * I’ve come to notice that with Hotels.com you often get the worst room. We certainly must have gotten the worst room. No view, garden facing so the mosquitos were always there. All the other rooms had nice terraces and views. * The bed aside from being hard had a thick mattress cover that made you sweat and feel like the bed was damp. Super awful feeling. * The hairdryer in the bathroom is one of those really old plastic ones that heat up hot in two minutes and burn your hand while not drying your hair at all. * The room was more of a 2-3 star affair. Not even close to 4 stars. Very basic. Not very comfortable. While I clearly hated the room, the hotel in general had such a nice feel that I always looked forward to coming back at the end of the day.

Great and cozy hotel

Wonderful atmosphere in a small cozy hotel in a small “mountain” village. All staff are nice and helpful. Fantastic continental breakfast. Certainly a place that I will come again and highly recommended as a spot for exploring north part of Olbia.

Great hotel, friendly staff

Our experience at Arathena was just wonderful! Staff was very friendly and helpful and even supported me with an amazing birthday surprise for my boyfriend during the dinner. They went above and beyond! The food was top notch as well, we ate twice there because it was so good. We absolutely enjoyed the great atmosphere at the hotel and the highlight is for sure the dining area with the beautiful terrace. We will definitely return!
