When I first researched the hotel associated with your email, I was quite impressed by the positive reviews and appealing information I found. However, upon my arrival, the experience took a disappointing turn. I typically avoid leaving negative reviews, as I prefer to focus on the positive, but the glowing reviews I read were the very reason I chose this hotel.
As soon as we stepped out of the car, we were immediately hit by a heavy cloud of marijuana smoke, which was quite off-putting. Then, while checking in, the receptionist informed me about an additional deposit requirement: $50 for credit card transactions and $150 for cash payments. In hindsight, I should have taken this as a warning sign of what was to come.
The room itself was reasonably nice at first glance, but I quickly encountered several issues. The hotel phone was inoperative, leaving me unable to contact the front desk or request assistance. Additionally, I found that the light switch on the left side of the bed did not work, nor did the electrical outlets in that area. The wall lamp similarly failed to illuminate. It was evident that this hotel had once been a beautiful and luxurious venue, but its lack of maintenance made it quite the opposite. I felt embarrassed to have my family stay in such a place.
