The location is spectacular…we had a bright and comfortable room overlooking the bay. The owners are clearly working to upgrade the hotel, and it is working. The restaurant was a very pleasant surprise. Excellent Italian menu, perfectly cooked and wonderful friendly service.

We were looking forward to this lovely simple hotel with a beautiful view. That’s not what we got. The bathroom had long hair all over the sink and toilet. The room had a very strong odor of dog. We had a patio and when trying to open the screen, it fell off the hinges. The door that exits the end of the building was broken and would only allow you to exit, not enter and slammed loudly upon exit. The pool and hot tub were closed. We were notified when we arrived that breakfast wouldn’t be served because they only serve it on Saturday and Sunday even though it was advertised as daily. We will not be returning to this hotel.

To be fair they are recently under new ownership. But they have a long way to go to fix everything that wasn’t working or busted. Many inconveniences and the front desk lady was very rude, including hanging up on me when I asked her to get us into our locked adjoining room.

Since they have just reopened the parking was grest not very many guests staying. However if they had more guest's then there would be enough parking for all. They still have some work to do to make this place great but given some time it will. The view from our room was gorgeous. Right on the water. Staff was friendly and helpful. I wish they had a book of places to go and eat for those who are from out of town but I would definitely come back.

The room and the view of the pool and ocean are great! The pool and restaurant were closed. It has new owners and they are doing some repairs. In my room, the fan in the bathroom made a very loud noise which I made them aware of. Also it needs a different nightstand in the middle of the 2 beds. It is very small and low so you can't comfortably reach from the bed. They do have extra amenities like lotion, makeup remover, shower cap and extra blankets you don't always get. I do hope they eventually will provide breakfast. The price also was very reasonable and there is beach access. I was also impressed with the staff as they are very accommodating. I definitely will be going back.

Staff for check in- he was very friendly, stressed as he was the only one there but super friendly. checking out she seemed bothered as I was interrupting her day. Room was dated for sure, clean but lots of stains everywhere. I would say this is not a family friendly place and the room accommodations don't really work for kids. The joining room only had the one access point and if the door got closed it could not be reopened unless in that room. Would have thought the double room we booked would have a restroom in each room and that was not the case, 7 people and only one restroom. We had a double room for our family size said it was one king and 2 queens, the king was a full and I had to sleep on the floor, there was not enough space for us two parents and our 1 year old to sleep in that bed(totally would have been if this was in fact a king) Pool was closed and nasty looking, no available ice machines. TV was cutting in and out once we could find something that it would play With all of that it was a beautiful view and nice to be right on the water with access to the bay.

There was no hot water, there were spiders behind the door that looked like they had been there a while. They were dead, and my spouse is arachnophobic. Half of the doors didn't work, the pool is still a work in progress and when we originally checked in, ourselves and two other couples had to come back and have door keys reprogrammed. The fire pit and the view were nice amenities. However, no hot water is a big No-No for us. And the room was just okay. As we were told, the hotel is under new ownership and going through major changes. However, my sister mentioned years ago that the pool was not working at that time either. The only bright spot in our state was the kindness of the staff to be honest. My 10-year-old son thought the beds were nice, and slept like a rock. He wanted me to make sure I added that. There is also a pet deposit, make sure you understand that when you choose this hotel. It was $25 extra per night.

Was not as advertised. Rooms were very dated and the room smelled. Went in to take a shower and the whole know broke off from the wall in my hand. Staff was not helpful and told me to "take it up with Hotels.com" for refunds or complaints. We ended up leaving early and found somewhere else to stay.

Cleanliness overall was good. Some items were missing such as a compartment for the coffee maker, so unable to make coffee in the room. Also some light bulbs were missing from the fixtures. Some lights were not turning on despite having light bulbs and being plugged in. And microwave was not heating properly even after about 5 minutes. Didn't stay in the room much so these were not huge inconveniences, just things to note. Staff was great; very sweet and helpful. Loved that the beach was a short walk from here.

I paid for the whirlpool suite and lemme say this is the worst hotel ive ever stayed in. First of all, Anything metal looks like it has decay or water damage. Second, the lamp shades had rips in them. Third some of the lights in my room didn't work right or had missing bulbs! Fourth the hot water in the room didn't work to the spa tub or the shower or sink. I went to the front desk and complained. I was told the issue with the lights and the water would be fixed by 930. I didn't get hot water until after midnight and the front desk person openly said that she knew about these issues and the room shouldn't have been open. I am asking for a full refund and wouldn't recommend staying here. On that note the property is massive and was just bought less than a year ago. It may be different in three years. There is a bar and restraunt on site. I didn't get to eat there but they both looked nice. I was also promised a pool but that was closed.

Not a great experience. Was charged extra per night by almost 70 per night. Owner tried to explain it away saying that is how it works with 3rd party apps. Also got WAY less room than was listed! And my "jetted tub" was and an OLD skinny little bathtub that looked at LEAST 50 years old. And WHAT was that smell!!!

The hotel is located in a beautiful, quiet, and safe area. It’s currently under new management, so they are still working on updating the property. Although the hotel is older, it overall felt clean and comfortable. The view from our room was gorgeous and definitely one of the highlights of our stay at this hotel. We checked in late and unfortunately didn’t realize there were no toiletries provided until the next morning. There was also no one available at the front desk around 7:30 a.m., so luckily I had packed some essentials. I was disappointed that even basic items like soap were unavailable. For the price, I do feel the hotel is currently lacking some important amenities. However, the property genuinely has a lot of potential, and I hope that within the next few months the new management is able to get everything fully updated because it could become a really great place to stay.
