Just by the Roman bridge and with views to the Mosque, this is a convenient and mostly quiet place to stay. Spotlessly clean, fantastic shower and a big kind size super comfortable bed. There are two local, no frills restaurants very close by that were still open with good food and it is often buzzing with the local community. Go there for a traditional breakfast, well worth it.
Don't forget to check-in at the hotel next to the east side of the mosque before crossing the bridge to the apartment, you will need the access code to get in. Lovely friendly staff with some good tourist recommendations.
Our one complaint is the following:- the flat has a coffee machine but not a single pod of coffee was provided. There is nowhere close by to buy some either - it's an ill thought rather mean decision by the hotel. I had read previous reviews and I knew what to expect so we took some tea and coffee with us. There are local small shops for general basic ingredients very close by.
Apart from this, it was a really good stay.
