What a mess. Zero customer service or professionalism. All doors were propped open upon arrival, at 3:15 PM with no one at the desk. Someone was painting the lobby and cussing the entire time. No one "working" was in any kind of uniform, more like lounge clothes, with one employee fully barefoot. Employees verbally arguing with each other while we were trying to check in. Even though check in time was 3:00, our room wasnt ready. We were given keys for one room in a highly used, worn, and torn key envelope. We were given a different room before we even made it down the hall as the other room was cleaned first. Based on the discussions amongst the staff, it seemed more like a giant trap house than a hotel. Guests were stepping over vaccuum cleaner cords and construction materials to get to their rooms. Our room was serviceable, but not nice by any means, and the ripped out smoke detector and missing door latch were very concerning. There were poorly patched holes, mis-matched paint, and water damage in the bathroom. We vowed to not put anything near our faces during our stay.
We checked in, left for an event, returned late, slept, and left as soon as possible in the morning. The very sorry excuse for a "continental breakfast" was easily skipped....some Cheerios and half a loaf of bread by the toaster would have violated our "nothing near our faces" rule. The light in the bathroom was flickering like a strobe light. Spend a few more dollars and find somewhere else to stay.
