When we first arrived, there were a few issues with the room (shower drain overflowed and the water temperature wouldn't stay constant). The next day we told the guy at the front desk was friendly and said he'd send someone up while we were out and provide new towels (we had to use a few to clean up the water). When we got back, nothing had changed.
However, that night, we stopped by the 9th floor area and met the night receptionist Rachal A. She was very warm and friendly and asked if all was well so far. We told her, and sure enough, someone was sent up the next day and the shower drain issue had been fixed and new supplies provided.
Now that the main issue was resolved, each day we were there (an 11 day stay), our room and the hotel started to feel more and more like our home base and a place of comfort. Overall, I'd give this place about 4.5/5 stars, but Rachel A brings that up to a full 5/5. We had many interactions with her in the 9th floor reception/lounge area at night (a great place to hangout actually) during our stay. She truly is a treasure that makes people feel valued, welcome, and is damn good at her job.
We WOULD definitely stay here again and you really can't beat its great location.
