We stayed in the astronomical clock apartment. It was very luxurious, we could see the astronomical clock every hour from our window, which felt like a dream. Lots of art on the walls, beautiful details, lots of space and a great location. Some visitors mentioned that the apartments are about 7 minutes walk from the reception, but it is not the case for this apartment. It is right next to the hotel. The kitchen was small and minimally stocked. For morning coffee, it only had a kettle with instant coffee packets but no coffee maker, which seemed very strange for a luxurious hotel like this.
It is important to know that the area is only for pedestrians, so if you are renting a car or coming by taxi with a lot of luggage you need to inquire about that.
The apartment is on the second floor and does not have an elevator. There were a lot of stairs which might be difficult for elderly guests. The staff was very helpful and carried everything for us.
The hotel is not flexible about early check-in or late check-out and requires an hourly payment.
The breakfast was just OK. But I don't think I would choose this option again.
