I'll try and keep it short and sweet. From the get go I had an amazing experience with my partner. Common area was quaint and clean, the greeter, Nicole, was courteous and bubbly as well as cheerful. All of the staff that I personally came into contact with were lovely. I have absolutely no complaints. A little tip if you want convenience ... add the breakfast to your stay, you will not regret it. The seating area is beautiful as well as the bar. Breaky is served 7am - 3pm I believe, it is a catered menu, none of that buffet style stuff. The meals are seasoned well and made to perfection.
The rooms posted are exactly what you get, the space is large if you choose the lounge option like we did. Great for sleeping, resting, making small dishes for dinner or lunch and a great space for hosting friends you have not seen in a while.
The hotel is in a very accessible area, the train station is a 5 min walk, the Highstreet is literally around the corner (30 sec walk). There are parks around the hotel which are lovely to gander in.
This is my go to spot from now on. Simple as that.
One morning, I asked Nicole if she liked working at the hotel and without hesitation, she let me know that she loved it and preceded to tell me why, with honesty.
The workers are happy and the guests like me are happier for being there!
