as a luxury, real estate agent and travel agent, I was very excited to stay at Barren Cove in Sag Harbor for a day and check it out for some fabulous clients who are thinking of having an event there. Unfortunately, our flight was delayed 15 hours from LAX to New York because of bad weather and Barren Cove and Expedia don’t have any type of accommodations or policies to give a credit or cancel. I spent hours on the phone with Expedia. He was in touch with Barr’s Cove, as well as with the manager at Barren Cove and emailed and they would not give me a refund or even a credit towards the future visit. I would love to explore this property for my clients, but unfortunately, I was not able to and they did not make it easy , it looks beautiful in the pictures. It was recommended by a friend that lives in Sag Harbor.
