Mama Shelter was a hip hotel with a nice restaurant and roof top bar. It’s definitely a solid 3 stars for lodging.
The pros: Check in was easy, the staff was super pleasant and we were lucky our room was ready a couple of hours before official check-in. I really liked the bathroom products - clean and eco friendly. The location is central, convenient to everything you need.
Cons: We chose a cozy room which was as stated- tiny. It was hard to have two half open suitcases. For a solo traveler, it would be more than sufficient though! When we walked into our room, it smelled like wet laundry that had been sitting out. I opened a window and it helped, but I think it was the bedding. We had a short two night stay so it was bearable with the windows open to air the room. Wish there were usb outlets since we only had 1 travel adapter.
Overall, it was a fine stay. I’d say the lodging and decor is skewed for a younger crowd.
