The pictures looked great.
However, it is ‘tired’ and not maintained very well.
In the restaurant there didn’t seem to be enough staff, one morning there was just one young lady serving all the tables, and taking payment.
The evening menu is quite limited, we only ate there once as there was nothing else we wanted to eat if we’d gone twice.
Breakfast was a bit like walking into a cafe. You were charged for every cup of coffee, unlike most hotels we’ve been to.
On the last day the pool was a murky green, and we had to tell the management.
We feel it was not managed very well.
This was our first stop in NZ and we were very much looking forward to it, but unfortunately left disappointed.
