Hotel was very modern and clean. The lack of bars and restaurants due to the ongoing construction of the new seafront was a bit disappointing. The hotel is only a 5 minute taxi ride from the old town of Split which is very nice.

Very bad sofa bed but awesome breakfast

Lovely hotel and will be better when there are more facilities locally. Lots of beachside buildings currently being built. Very clean and fantastic breakfasts. My main issue is that we booked this hotel for 4 guests 2 adults, 2 children. 2 single beds and a sofa bed. The room size could easily take a double bed and the sofa bed was awful with the thinnest of mattresses on a saggy curved base which is really not appropriate for even a relatively lightweight couple to sleep on. The pool was also closed for our last two days with no explanation. I told this to the reception who "passed this on to the customer relationship manager". I never heard from them. I would recommend as a couple but not for a family and overall, for this price, you should at least get a reasonable bed.

The staff at the property are really nice, polite and always ready to help. The property itself has issues. While our stay, the rooftop pool flooded, and in seperate occasions we had no running water. The staff helped us all the time but maybe the management could improve facilities. Otherwise a good stay.

The property was fine; however, it is not a 5-star hotel. We have booked many trips with Expedia and always had a great experience. in this case Expedia shows the property as 5 star and at the property it is 4 stars. We were disappointed with Expedia as it is not the property's fault, as they clearly show that is 4 stars.

The property around and providing access to this hotel is under MAJOR construction...no road, no sidewalks, constnat dust clouds from passing construction trucks. Also, Amphora's Garden is BEHIND Hotel Amphora and requires navigating a labyrinth to reach your room in the Garden. However, the Wellness area (indoor and outdoor pools), in-house restaurant (with included breakfast), Rooftop bar, and rooftop top hotel at the Garden, as well as the appointments were very posh and welcoming. Depending on the outcome of this significant EU construction project and ability to get a room at the Hotel Amphora versus the Garden, I may visit here again.

Hôtel situé à moins de 10km du centre de split. Besoins d’une voiture pour se déplacer w pratiquement aucun restaurant dans les alentours . Corniche bien aménagée avec plage et activités aquatiques . Les chambres et les appartements sont spacieux . Petit déjeuner peut mieux faire . Ne surtout pas prendre le dîner du soir en buffet. Buffet très sommaire pas grand chose en entrée salade et en plat 2 plats chauds. Personnel pas du tout agréable dans cet hôtel . Aucun service à disposition. Rooftop belle vue sur la mer . Plage en face de l’hôtel très proche en revanche pas de transat gratuit . Tous les transats sont payants mini 20e par transat .

Free upgrade !!

Apartment was clean and we received a free upgrade on arrival from a studio to a 1 bedroom apartment. Internet was good but didn’t work at the pool. Breakfast included was amazing. Our only negative would be the rooftop pool staff who rolled their eyes and sighed when we politely asked to have an umbrella put up. Other than that all other hotel staff were approachable and kind!

Location, pool/spa area and rooms very good!

Clean, new and nice location. The hotel is situated about 1 hour WALK from the old town of Split but the whole waterfront is being built out (4 km) and will be very nice once completed. Comfortable rooms and very nice spa / fitness area. This will be an up and coming hotel! Please note that Amphoras GARDEN (5 stars) is situated behind the Amphora so the sea view from most rooms are limited. However, very nice Roof top pool area.

Property was good including rooftop pool and easy access to beach. We did not receive the apartment we booked due to some technical issues but we were given a very good room in the hotel with a comfortable bed and also provided a discount on checkout which was most appreciated. Hotel muito bom, limpo e uma bela praia na frente. Nosso quarto tinha uma area extena que nao estava com a grama cortada ms internamente estava muito bom. Atendimento da recepção grosseiro pela supervisora tanto no checkin quanto no checkout.

Ett jättefint hotell med fina rum och bra bekvämligheter. Servicen är bra (oftast) i receptionen medan på andra ställen är det ganska oengagerat. Om man bor på Amphoras Garden så är Wifi väldigt dåligt och det kan ta tid att ta sig till och från rummet med hiss då det är många som delar på hissen. Att det byggs i området var inget som påverkad oss. Man kan utan problem vara på stranden och det var inget störande ljud från maskiner i närheten.
