This hotel isn't the cleanest, but I stayed there a total of 8 hours just to sleep. The bed was comfortable and the A/C worked. That's all I needed. It does have a pool, which I didn't use. It's great for a cheap, drive by stay! If staying for longer than a day, I would find a nicer hotel.

Staff was very friendly and attentive. The building facade was in poor shape. As were interior ceilings and hallway rugs. Very spacious pool, but water was a bit cloudy. Breakfast area was not clean and not all foods were out. Room floor was sticky.

I was unfamiliar with the property, so parked at the first door I saw and went in. Found the registration desk and was immediately berated by the desk clerk. "You're supposed to come in the front door! You're not supposed to come in that way- how did you get in the door?" "I pulled on the door and it opened." He did go ahead and check me in. Said they were out of key jackets, so wrote down my room number and the wifi password on a piece of paper he tore from a larger sheet and gave it to me. Not a pleasant experience.

Apparently this was a very nice place at one time. There was no television service, the pool was closed, the sauna was closed and coffee wasn't available after I was told it would be. The only good thing I can say is it was quiet and the bed was comfortable.

There were dead bed bugs and ants under my sheet. The whole hotel smelled like mildew and must. The staff couldn't understand that it was NOT OK for my family to stay there. The photos and description were WAY OFF from what was advertised. It was a horrible experience. We had to leave at 11pm to a better hotel.

in door pool was nice, room good! No TV because there was no cable. The hotel from the outside looks closed in bad shape. Didn’t think it was open when we pulled in lot! Very scary on outside, inside was nice! needs a lot of cosmetic work on outside!

Friendly staff. Got the room on hotels.com. Didn’t find out until I got there that no televisions worked at all on the property, even though I was told kindly that it was being worked on. The door was opened on the side I’m guessing all night, so anyone could have just walked in there and caused harm. Not blaming anyone. Just pointing out the optics of the situation.

Once arriving we got our room keys which wouldn't work so we had to go back to the front desk to get new keys. We opened the door and someone else was already in that room. No ice machines worked in the whole building. The rooms were not cleaned properly. I found eyelash extensions in the bathroom and a dirty toilet. No toilet paper. The bed had stains. Dead bugs all over the room and spotty air conditioning. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Albert Lea Inn and Suites worked well for a one night stay. They are currently under new management, and the outside is slightly terrifying, but inside you'll find wonderful marble tile floors and cute decor. I cannot wait until the finished product is complete, it will be gorgeous! Thank you!

1st off went to bathroom by pool no tp or pt. How do your employees wash up ? No tv service , ceral for breakfast, stains on the ceiling some black in corner. Beds sucks , out side is dirty Air sucks. Will never stay there again. The refolded the dirty bath towels for us to use nice .

Old run down exterior of building. Sign on front desk stayed POOL CLOSED and NO BREAKFAST so we went to a different hotel and stayed as we have two kids (6&4) that was looking to swim.

It was a damn trap house. Trash everywhere, broken exterior locks, no cable or phone lines etc. Good luck working with Expedia to get a refund. What a nightmare.
