The front desk manager single-handedly is to blame for taking the 4th stay at this hotel and making it our last. We had booked two reservations because we decided to add another night. Booking through Hotels.com was less expensive. We did not know the room type changed, and we were not told at check in we would need to change rooms on night two.
The desk clerk could have asked us to politely move rooms, but chose to rudely tell us to get out now. When contronted, she didn't apologize for the confusion or her behavior, instead doubled down and said, "was I mean or was I direct?" She was both. If you call someone ugly, that's both direct and mean. Never had such a conversation before with someone in or out of the service industry. The hotel location was good, the room was okay, but the front desk service was the worst I've ever experienced. Jojo made us feel penalized for booking through Hotels.com. if there is a partnership for filling rooms, the front desk manager at this property needs to be enlightened.
