This hotel is perfectly located 5 minutes to beach, town or metro. Yes it is a little tired in places but for the price you pay it is amazing value. Highly recommend as a cheap, good located, and lovely staff hotel x

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. I had a great room with a partial sea view. The hotel was well placed for my visit. This is the second time I have used this hotel and I will be back.

You can still feel how grand this hotel once was. I just needed a bed for the night. The bedding was clean and fresh. The bathroom hugh, clean with lovely white fluffy towels. The room bright. The carpet needs a clean as heavily stained covered with a mat that didn't quite hide all of the stain. The lift out of order and dining room closed I understand it opens later in week for evenings. But - the heating was something else sooo warm, plenty hot water. Car park at the rear of hotel. Sea front location. Walking distance to centre. Fish &chips restaurant close by.

Lift out of order. Rooms on the same floor are on multi levels. Signage to actual stairs to the lobby and dining room would be helpful Floor in bedroom creaked and not level, carpets were on palliative care and not long for this world

Great location. Room was spacious and immaculately clean, but very dated decor. Comfy beds and a good shower. Good value for money.

Perfect location near the station and the beach. Friendly staff. Good shower. Comfy bed. Not very clean and could do with a makeover, very tired. Lift doesn't work. Very cheap and cheerful. Really easy to find and near all amenities.

Superior location with the beach at the doorstep. If budget is your main priority this is a great budget friendly alternative. However don’t expect too Much more than a bed to sleep in

The rooms looked slightly tired and old fashioned but were clean enough and had all our requirements apart from a glass to drink from and a pack of cards as we were trapped for a while due to a thunderstorm. Staff (Sonia) was brilliant and gave me a room on the ground floor because I struggled with the stairs up to the second floor. Also she provided me with a drinking glass from the bar. I didn’t require breakfast or parking on this occasion.
