Upon arrival, staff worked very hard to allow me to check in early and find a room that was cleaned after traveling a long way, but that’s where the good service ended. I need to note that I did not push for an early check in but was only asking & I was prepared to wait in the lobby if needed.
In the room, the AC unit was in need of repair so badly that no one could sleep with it on. It was so loud when it was cooling that it would have woken me up every few minutes, so I opted to turn it off at night. Secondly, the fridge was frozen up, with ice on the shelf, so that when the ice in the fridge was thawing, it leaked onto the floor. Third, the faucet in the kitchenette was leaking over the counter when used. Fourth, there were signs of mice via mouse droppings on the floor. 5th, someone’s dirty socks were still in the room.
I was far too tired when I checked in to bother with the AC unit, and the other items showed up later in the 2 night stay. I do expect better than this, but it would have been too cumbersome to change rooms after I was unpacked so I tolerated it all.
