Athens Gate was centrally located. Easily walkable to the Acropolis, Plaka & Parliament building & National Gardens. We had a room on the 7th floor with a huge balcony overlooking the Tempe of Zeus. The bed was comfortable & the room was a good size with a fridge. Even had Korres hygiene items. Breakfast was delicious with a huge variety! Check out the restaurant/bar in the evening as well. Beautiful view of the Acropolis!

Amazing view from rooftop restaurant (make sure to book it in advance during a peek season and ask for outside table). The only little annoyance I had was with a bathroom lighting: not enough light! This is an excellent hotel if you’re wanting to see the Acropolis as it’s right around the corner. The staff were extremely helpful and my room was clean and comfortable, although there was no view from the window. The restaurant on the top floor is very good and you get a superb view of the Acropolis. This is particularly lovely at night, but also great in the morning as breakfast is served here.
