Nice, clean, updated hotel in the best location - just a block up from the main strip that has everything you need (except an ATM) and is straight up from the best beach, Carizilillo (though it's the one with many, many stairs to access it). The hotel staff was so nice and accommodating. The rooms have a little fridge and the hotel has a communal kitchen area it you need plates, microwave, etc. I like that they had access to Netflix, Prime, Toutube, and other channel selections on the tv. Overall I had a very enjoyable experience there and would certainly consider staying there again.

First stay in Mexico!

We had never stayed in Mexico (Puerto Escondido) and we are so glad this place was our introduction. Very friendly staff. Our room was a great fit for my wife, me, our son, and our small dog. The staff did a great job cleaning as well. Warm water. Soft bed. Located next to a cafe and other eating options down the way. We’d live here if we could!

Quiet stay

I came to visit Puerto Escondido a few days after a hurricane impacted the area. The airline refused to offer me a refund or credit. So I went through with my original travel plans. It was a very quiet hotel. I was probably the only guest there one or two days. The room was nice. Easy to use a/c unit in the room. Ceiling fan in the room also. Small mini fridge in the room. The water in the shower is a little cool which is perfect for when you come back from the beach and need to cool down. I recommend arriving to Puerto Escondido with plenty of pesos so you won't have to worry about finding an exchange place or an ATM.

The property itself is above average. Staff did a solid job cleaning the room before our arrival. Conveniently located near dining, shopping, and the beaches. AC worked great. It made me a little nervous that the door handle to the room was loose. It locked, but if you moved it hard enough, it would probably open. My biggest gripe about this place was the check-in process and attendant at check-in. Nobody was there upon our arrival. We waited a few minutes and somebody eventually showed up. She was rude and condescending. It was as if she couldn't be bothered. She didn't want to give us much information, so we had to keep asking her questions, which only made her more annoyed. Eventually, we met Rogelio, who was much warmer and friendlier. Also, please update your info at the front desk. Lots of outdated info, including phone number.
