It's an absolute crime that you punch in "lodging" in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, in Expedia and this Econo Lodge is the only property that pops up, as if it is the only hotel in the city (which it is not). Decrepit, aging hotel property under re-construction, in the midst of still serving guests (pardon the bags of cement and construction materials in the lobby, right beside the check-in desk. Filthy hallway carpeting, sub-standard rooms where the TVs mostly don't work, no answer at the front desk telephone when calling for directions in how to find the property (which the front desk clerk later said she didn't know anyway -- look it up yourself). Sketchy neighborhood, decrepit and forlorn downtown. A dismal experience. I'll be contacting the Econo Lodge corporate office for a refund of the $139 it cost to stay in this dump, as well as submitting a well-documented letter, with photos.
