The front desk worker was terrible. She told me of a 21 day maximum stay policy that customer service on the 1-800 number later told me did not exist and lost the company money due to cancellation. My house burned down a few weeks ago, and I had booked 2 nights through Hotels.com, but learned that rates were cheaper through the Extended Stay website, so I booked an additional 21 days direct through them, only to be told the next morning that I would either have to shorten my stay (at a higher rate) or cancel completely. Now my credit card is maxed out while waiting for the refund to process, I am homeless, living in my car, lost all of my possessions in the fire and am at a complete loss with regards to faith in humanity.
