Pulled into the parking lot, saw some people walking around with carts. Checked in, paid for the room. Got into the room and the TV was on, there were dark spots on one of the sheets and the bathroom was dirty. We immediately left and got a room somewhere else. 100% do not recommend.

Shower didn't work properly. Could not get hot water. Only lukewarm. When I told the manager he said no one ever complained before. Basically calling me a liar. Changed my room. Air conditioner was running when I went to the new room but it was still hot and stuffy with a bad smell. Air conditioner wouldn't cool. Only fan. Told the manager. He said i caused him too much trouble and I was an unhappy person. We exchanged insults. I demanded refund for unused nights and moved to a different hotel. I have never been treated so badly.

The reason I chose this hotel was its proximity to the Convention Center and it was inexpensive. The bedspreads had stains and there was dirt on them. Headboard had little wads of paper behind it that looked like spitballs. The bathtub was dirty, shower curtain had hair on it, the pipe below the sink was all rusty and there was no drain plug for the sink. There was a homeless person sleeping on the bottom outside corridor underneath the stairwell. The parking lot reeked of marijuana and had sketchy people in it, one working on his car in the daytime. I was glad to have a room on the second floor, even though it meant I had to haul my suitcases up the stairs by myself. It was at the intersection of two light rail lines with a stop conveniently right in front, however the noise of the trains going by was disturbing at night. Although the desk staff was friendly enough, check in and check out was through a glass window of the office, like a gas station in a shady neighborhood. I had prepaid the room for five nights and was going to share my room with another woman and her 10-year old daughter for a couple of those nights, but after she read other reviews she decided to book a different hotel. I did not feel safe in this place alone. I would never stay here again.

The clerk was rude, he didn't want to give us the wifi password even though we are paying customers. He said it was company policy not to give it to guess. No hot water to shower with. It was extremely noisy from guess up stairs from us and company didn't do anything to quite it down. we never got our microwave or refrigerator, all in all it was the worst stay we ever experienced. We will never book a stay there again and highly recommend that no one ever go there

Not Great, Even For 1 Night

Overall not the best Despite being listed as "No Smoking" rooms it took 3 attempts to get a room that didn't completely reek of cigarette smoke. To make matters worse, we Felt unsafe during check-in and when we left the room, and later returned.

The room smelled heavily of cigarettes. The water, even on its hottest setting, was never over lukewarm. The water pressure in the shower was also little to nothing. This made it very difficult to wash any soap off. There was no mini fridge or coffee maker and no options for any kind of breakfast snacks or food in the lobby. The staff was amazing though and they would be the only reason I’d come back to this location specifically.

Low quality for Motel 6

Most of the time I consider Motel 6 to be a clean, no frills sleeping box and nothing more. While this was not by any means the worst hotel I’ve stayed in, it definitely skews a bit on the grungy side. Mostly it was the little things like; the tv was crooked, it had this old beat up dinette table with a very uncomfortable wood chair, the bathroom fan was extremely loud and the bedding seamed very old.

Room was below even basic accommodations: no closet, no suitcase stand, no shampoo, phone disconnected. Fortunately, the bed was OK and the shower and TV worked. There were pretty sketchy and loud people in the parking lot at times, which is likely beyond the control of the managers. All this said, this motel is much, much less expensive than other hotels in the area.
