My mum and I stayed here for two nights, and we had a lovely experience. The location is excellent, and the staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Aberdeen in the future.

Was near the train station and had a decent bed. (Finally) The hotel before was a rock so I really appreciated that the bed was not super firm. Close to everything and great staff.

This hotel was new to me but I was impressed, just a pity the bar & restaurant were closed for refurbishment.

Elaine welcomed us to the Carmelite, having remembered us from our quick visit a week previous when we wanted to make sure where we would be staying. The hotel is convenient to good restaurants, and my favorite ice cream shop (Mackie’s!). An easy walk to the train, as well. The room was clean, the bedding crisp, and the shower nice and hot.

I stayed for two weeks and I really enjoyed it. The bed was comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient for most sites. There was some noise on a few of the nights, but it wasn’t the fault of the hotel, and I always carry ear plugs. The only minor complaint I have is that I wish the rooms were cleaned more often than every four days. Otherwise, it was a great stay, especially for the price, and I would recommend and/or return.
