From the moment we arrived, the experience did not meet the standards we would normally expect from a hotel of this category.
We were not allowed to park our own vehicle and were required to pay USD 100 per day for valet service, without being offered any alternative. While we understand that this may be standard practice in downtown properties, this policy seems unjustified for a hotel located in a medical district.
Upon entering the room, there was no internet service and the room telephone was not working. As a result, we had to go downstairs to the hotel restaurants in person simply to request room service, turning what should have been a convenient service into an unnecessary inconvenience.
Housekeeping did not service the room until 8:00 PM on the first day, after we had already returned for the evening. This was extremely disruptive to our stay.
This hotel previously maintained a much higher standard, which makes this experience particularly disappointing.
