The hotel website/ hotels.com and a sign in the hotel lobby all shows there is a free 24 hr airport shuttle. Called hotel prior to boarding flight from SEA and was told to call again when flight had landed for shuttle. Called on arrival at 1am and was told that the driver didn’t show up and to take a cab or uber. Then asked if they provided a voucher and was told no…$28.00+ tip out of pocket cab fare for a hotel with free 24 hour shuttle. The breakfast was good and the beds were comfortable/clean.

Great alternative to the Fairbanks Westmark
I traveled to Fairbanks for a three day conference being held at the west Mark comma, but the room rate at the Westmark was significantly higher than the Clarion suites which is literally across the street and two houses down. The Clarion property is definitely older and shows its age in many places; however, the room was very clean and very spacious. The beds were fairly comfortable, though the pillows were not. The bathroom had everything I needed, including great, hot water and shower pressure. The hotel staff were always super friendly and helpful and I really appreciate it Thim. All in all, it is a great alternative to the more common Westmark when staying in perfect.

Wouldn’t stay here again even though beds comfy
This place is very dated and carpets are thin and stained. The room was huge and beds and pillows super comfy. I give it low stars for being loud -walls paper thin and windows allow a lot of noise and the internet was terrible. I had to log back in every ten minutes and it was very slow at times. The shower was weak.

The hotel is worn with stains on the carpets, smells in the elevator, dark outdated furniture. They advertise shuttle service but we were left at the train station when we arrived because "they didn't have a driver". We had to Uber and they did not offer to cover the cost. When we tried to schedule our transportation to the airport, we again heard they didn't have a driver even with 24 hours notice. They did find an asst manager to take us but you felt like a bother.

I’ve stayed in a lot of nice hotels in Alaska. This was not one of them. The room was dirty. It had hair in the bathroom drain and the shampoo bottle was half empty. There was no hot water and when I went to the front desk to tell them, they said that some of the rooms didn’t have hot water! Never offered another room or refund! I don’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

it seemed clean but they DO NOT have a shuttle service at all, the day front desk was disgusting and rude as all other staff except for kitchen help. The photos on line are 20 years old if not older. The elevator smelled disgusting too. Carpets were filthy and stains everywhere. My advice don’t stay here.
