Loved the location, very convenient to north and south Kauai. Laundry facilities were broken, we did not use the pool. Front desk person was not the friendliest, her daughter was more polite and accommodating. Loved the retro motel and vibe. The breakfast restaurant attached was amazing!

The hotel location was perfect! It was right on the beach. The beds were not comfortable, the mattress was slanted and the cleaning of the rooms can be improved.

Hotel Coral Reef was amazing!! The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The view and beach behind the hotel was beautiful. The hotel was in the perfect location with so many food options that are walking distance. I would highly recommend this hotel for a chill and relaxing trip to Kauai.

Nice place! Would've used the coffee machine but it wasn't the most clean, and the fridge had a smell so we didn't end up using that either, other than that, it's a nice place to stay. Great views!

We enjoyed our briefly stay at the Coral Reef Hotel. The room was dated and 80’s vibe but when we pulled back the curtain and stepped out on our lanai on the ground floor we knew that Kauai’s ocean, reef and beauty would be ours for 2 beautiful days. At last minute we had to extend our stay and the staff was very accommodating and did not make us change room locations. Aloha spirit

Definitely an older hotel but the view, welcoming staff, and very well maintained grounds make it worth it. Very easy to walk to shops, restaurants, and numerous food carts. We just left and are already planning our next visit!

Overall, it was a nice and safe place to stay. The room was clean, and the beach right in front was a great bonus. We did notice a few discrepancies during our stay. The bathroom sliding door had one of the wooden slats broken/off, leaving an opening that was covered with tape. We also requested a top-floor room but were told the floor was under maintenance, yet there were guests staying on that floor when we arrived. Additionally, we found roaches underneath the glass of the coffee table. Aside from these issues, we still enjoyed our stay and appreciated the location.

What a great view from the back of room 2105! Very comfortable beds and helpful staff. The path out back was very nice too, it was situated close to good food and the town, very walkable. Very affordable for oceanfront. We enjoyed Mermaids for dinner as well as Gloria's for breakfast.

Super accueil et excellent contact. Geste commercial appréciable et sympa suite au retard lié à la tempête Lala. Jardin très bien entretenu. Belle et grande chambre avec une très belle vue sur l’océan que nous profitons de la terrasse. Complément utile: si vous restez plusieurs jours, pensez à demander le nettoyage de la chambre car ce n’est pas automatique. Suite à un problème technique, nous n’avons pas pu profiter de la belle piscine. Très bien situé proches de commerces et au bord de mer. Quelle chance de pouvoir profiter d’une grande piste cyclable pour aller courir.

We stayed for 1 night before heading to the North side. The hotel was comfortable and walkable distance to restaurants and down to the beach. The AC was nice to have for our August weather. The person at the front desk was very friendly and provided a list of hiking trails across the island which we appreciated! Also had complimentary bikes and beach equipment. We did not use the pool due to being closed for maintenance but we didn't mind as we spent the day exploring. Great breakfast across the street at Kountry Kitchen. Have seen some comments about roosters- FYI- they are EVERYWHERE on the island from the hotels to the Walmart parking lots lol we had them at all 3 of the properties we stayed at so it's just something to accept across the island, not a fault of any of the accommodations honestly

Right on the beach and boardwalk. Incredible value for the price! Big room, nice bathroom, ocean facing balcony, free access to bikes etc. location is on the man drag so you are right there for restaurants and shopping.
