I have far many complaints about this hotel. Here are the main ones:
1. Noise. The traffic outside the window is deafening, and the leaf blowers at 7 a.m. are just as loud. All the cheaper rooms face the main road, and if you want a room on the other side (which is still noisy), they make you pay extra for it.
2. Terrible Wi-Fi. It's painfully slow, laggy, and keeps dropping out. I couldn't browse smoothly in my room at all and ended up relying on my mobile data instead.
3. Bugs in the room. I woke up with seven or eight bites all over my feet. This is completely unacceptable for a hotel.
4. Breakfast is clearly designed for tour groups only. As soon as the groups finished eating, staff started clearing away dishes like the congee. Breakfast is supposed to run until 9:30, yet food was being removed by 8:50. When I asked, I was simply told it wouldn't be served anymore. The coffee also ran out; when I asked them to deal with it, they just topped up already-brewed coffee with hot water. It had no flavor whatsoever.
5. Lost luggage. I left my bags at the front desk, and when I came back, the staff member said she couldn't find them. It took nearly an hour before they got back to me. When I asked why, I was told they don't have a dedicated luggage room, so bags get stored all over the place. If I had been in a hurry or rushing to catch a flight, this would have made me furious.
The hotel says it's planning a renovation, but with this level of staff professionalism.
