Very disappointed! When I arrived initially, I thought the GPS brought me to the wrong address because it looked abandoned, but I'd already pre-paid through Expedia so I said I'd go in and see.
I was charged a $50 Deposit, which I'd done before, but when I asked for a Receipt there were 2 different dollar amounts shown. The Clerk assured me those amounts would "drop off" upon check-out, so I took his word for it.
I then confirmed he had a "non-smoking" room for me, to which he responded, "Yes, all our rooms are non-smoking." When I got to the room, not only did it have a bad odor, but it smelled like smoke. There were baby spiders in several areas of the room, including on one of the pillows on the bed. There were at least 3 flies buzzing annoyingly around the room. It didn't look like the shower had been cleaned out, there was hair in the tub and on the wall. To be honest, it looked as if it had been vacant a long time prior to me checking in.
Fast forward to Check-out, same Clerk from Check-in. I expressed my concerns about the smell of Smoke. (Woke up several times feeling awful- have Asthma) He then informed me it was "previously a smoking room and hadn't been renovated yet". He then went on to tell me they recently took over the property, aren't finished, and just started that side. Which explains why it looked abandoned. Also, the Charges are still incorrect.
I'd just like a Full Refund at this point, but can't reach anyone at Expedia.
